Phase 1 – In Production / Full Support is a formal designation, where products in this phase are in full production, under warranty or out of warranty depending on timing. Service support options for hardware and software are available. Hardware and parts are available. Software updates to the current production version are available. The next product life cycle changeover after this support phase is Phase 2 - Out of Production/Full Support.
As new technologies become available, you have the opportunity to improve your testing instrument to keep pace with continually increasing testing and industry demands. Users are encouraged to evaluate the risk of maintaining their current systems against the benefits of migrating to newer technology.
