The Resiliometer is a device that measures impact resilience of elastomers by vertical
rebound.
The Shore Scleroscope is a rebound tester for metals applications. Originally manufactured
by Shore, the scleroscope is no longer in production; however, repair and calibrations
are fully supported by the Shore Calibration & Repair Laboratory. The Wilson Instruments
portable hardness testers, M200 and M250, are suitable replacements.
For a quick and accurate assessment of your durometer's performance and calibration
status, a Shore Durocalibrator should be used. With the Durocalibrator, a durometer
verification can be performed with greater precision than standard rubber test blocks.
The Durocalibrator can eliminate costly production errors by quickly identifying
out of tolerance conditions.
