Model M3 Creep and Stress Rupture Testing System

The Model M3 lever arm test machine is designed to provide solutions for maintaining constant loads for long term creep and stress rupture testing applications of metallic materials in accordance with ASTM E139. These tests can run from only a few hours up to and exceeding 10,000 hours. The long duration of these tests makes the lever arm loading system with dead weights both cost effective and highly reliable.

  • Room temperature and elevated temperature systems available
  • Elevated temperature systems equipped with SF-16 split style furnace for a temperature range of 300-1200° C (575-2200° F)
  • Free standing, front access, vibration isolated design features a small footprint to permit "back to back" and "side to side" installation of multiple machines for optimum floor space utilization
  • Motorized drawhead assembly automatically compensates for specimen elongation to keep lever arm level for improved load accuracies
  • Calibrated range from 10 - 100% of machine capacity
  • Class F serialized and certified load weight sets for either US Customary or Metric applications
  • Accessories include: high-temperature pull rods, specimen holders, extensometry, signal conditioner modules, and recorders
