Overview
High-capacity servohydraulic systems are used for quasi-static and fatigue tests on a variety of high-strength materials and components. These fatigue testing machines have load frame force capacities that range above 1000 kN. Each system can be easily configured for high or low-performance fatigue tests with appropriate sized servo-valve, manifold, and hydraulic power unit to suit the particular application.
All systems are equipped with the advanced features of the 8800 digital controller, Console Software, and the unique fatigue-rated Dynacell™ load cells. WaveMatrix™ Dynamic Testing Software provides the backbone for running many dynamic tests. Other application specific software modules, such as LCF3 Low Cycle Fatigue or any of the Instron® Fracture Mechanics Suite, allows other standardized tests to be run.
These dynamic systems, when combined with Bluehill® 2 Software and appropriate accessories, are ideal for running a variety of static tensile, compression, flexure, peel, tear, and friction tests.
High-Capacity Servohydraulic Systems include:
With up to 1000 kN capacity, the 8805 Servohydraulic Testing System is a 4-column machine used for fatigue and static testing of a wide variety of materials and components.
|
With capacities up to 5000 kN, these 4-column, high-capacity fatigue testing machines can be used for dynamic and static tests on a variety of structural materials and components.
|
The 8800 Digital Controller is a fully-digital controller for servohydraulic machines that utilizes Instron® core technologies, such as a 19-bit sensor resolution, 5 kHz update rates, and an Adaptive Control System.
|
Fatigue-rated Dynacell™ Load Cells feature built-in inertia compensation and help reduce dynamic load errors caused by grips and fixtures.
|
The high-efficiency 3520 Series of Hydraulic Power units are the perfect partner for your servohydraulic system, and can be configured with noise levels ranging from 58 - 63 dB (A).
