Overview
The Instron® HDT & Vicat thermo-mechanical testers, equipped with three or six stations, determine the Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) and the Vicat Softening Point (Vicat) for thermoplastic materials.
Features
- Instrument for HDT and VICAT testing with automatic microprocessor control of the entire test cycle
- Each station is equipped with a thermocouple to record the local temperature
- Built in parameters and results disply
- Automatic cooling cycle at end of test
- Nitrogen blanket diffusor for oil bath safety at high temperatures with external electro valve and connection
- Circulating oil bath that can reach temperatures up to 300° C
- Each test station is equipped with a thermocouple to record the local temperature
- Can be connected to a PC for data handling using the VisualTHERM software, ensuring parameter management and process control, results processing, reporting and data export
Range of Models
HV3
- 3 independent working stations, each with its own linear LVDT transducer
HV6
- 6 independent working stations, each with its own linear LVDT transducer
HV6A
- 6 independent working stations, each with its own linear LVDT transducer . The weights are applied automatically, as well as the movement of all stations into the bath.
