Composites Test Fixtures

Description

A range of fixtures for the testing of composite materials is available, and includes tension, compression, flexure, shear and peel.

The unique nature of composite materials has resulted in the development of these specific fixtures to ensure optimum alignment, high resistance to buckling and precision specimen location

Principle of Operation

Most of these fixtures are designed to meet specific materials testing standards. These standards have been developed over the years by leading manufacturers and research organizations, which then made their way into ASTM, ISO, DIN and other standards.
