Description:
Model 3560 BI Biaxial Strain Gage Extensometer for Flat or Round Specimens. A single, integral unit provides both averaged axial and transverse strain measurements in an easy to use quick mounting design. Features: - Minimal crosstalk between channels (less than 0.5%) - Zero pin to establish an accurate initial gage length - Knife edge contacts allow easy mounting, even on the edges of thin specimens - Over travel protection for rugged operation - Low operating force to prevent extensometer from affecting test - Replaceable knives - Comes in a foam lined box - Includes 8 feet (2.5 m) cable Specifications: - Gage Length: 1.00 in. - Specimen Sizes: 0.1 to 1.0" (2.5 to 25.0 mm) width - Axial Travel: ± 5% - Traverse Travel: ± 0.025 in. - Linearity: 0.15% - Output: 2-3 mV/V nominal - Excitation Voltage: 10Vdc Typ. - Strain Gages: 350 ohm, Full Bridge - Standard Temp.
